个人信息

Igor Romishevsky started to play hockey with SKA Kuybyshev in 1960. In 1961 he joined CSKA Moskva and played there until the end of his career in 1972. With CSKA Moskva Romishevsky won nine Soviet titles (1961, 1963-66, 1968, 1970-72) and four European Champions Cup titles (1969-72). Internationally Romishevsky won two Olympic golds (1968, 1972), was World champion four times (1968-71) and European champion three times (1968-70). He also won silver at the 1972 World Championships and silvers at the 1971 and 1972 European Championships. After his sporting career Romashevsky worked from 1974-79 as the head of the physical culture and sports department at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. From 1975-79 he was also a member of the Soviet Ice hockey Federation. After that Romashevsky started to work with Moscow based children’s hockey club Golden Puck (Золотая шайба), which every year since 1964 has organized the most prominent children’s ice hockey tournament in Russia – The Golden Puck Tournament. From 1995-2006 Romashevsky was vice-president of the club and in 2006 was named club president.
