个人信息

Camilla Andersen was born the child of two handball players, Gert Andersen and Toni Røseler Andersen, a former national team player for Denmark. She followed in her mother's footsteps in 1992, when she played the first of her 194 international matches (846 goals). Usually playing as the center, she helped her country win all international prizes available. Denmark and Andersen captured the Olympic gold in 1996 and 2000, the world title in 1997 (runner-up in 1993) and the European title in 1994 and 1996 (silver in 1998). In club play, Andersen represented seven different teams in Denmark, Norway and Germany. With Bækkelaget, she won the Norwegian cup (1996) and title (1997). She had biggest successes with Slagelse FH, winning the 2002 Danish Cup, the 2003 Danish title, the 2003 EHF Cup and the 2004 Champions League. Her palmares further includes another Danish Cup, won in 1997 with FIF. For a few years, Camilla Andersen was married to fellow handball player Mia Hundvin of Norway. At the 2000 Olympics, the pair played each other in a preliminary round match, the first time a married couple competed against each other in Olympic handball (or any other team sport, for that matter).
