Биография

Gregor Vietz was a German long-distance runner, who ran at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, where he had unknown results in the heats of the 5 and 10K, and was also eliminated in the first round of the 3K team race. His only known result was a 27th place in the individual cross-country. Vietz won three German Championships – 1912 in the 7,500, and 1920-21 of the 10K. In 1913 and 1922 he won the Praha Marathon. By profession Vietz was a bricklayer foreman.

Personal Bests: 3000 – 9:23.0 (1920); 5000 – 16:03.0 (1913); 10000 – 33:16.0 (1920).
