Henri GANCE

Henri Gance’s father had the uncommon profession of ice polisher. Henri started weightlifting in 1908 for the Cercle Athlétique Parisien, but he was also active in other heavy athletic sports. In 1920 he was champion of France and won Olympic gold in the same year.
