Biografia

Eric Lindroth was a member of the UCLA team that took the NCAA title in 1969, 1971, and 1972, winning the MVP award at the 1972 tournament. Between these two championships he made his international début in 1970. Lindorth graduated from UCLA in 1973 with a degree in physical education. He was the youngest member of the 1972 U.S. water polo team and also a member of the silver medal winning team at the 1975 Pan American Games as well as of the gold medal winning team at the 1979 Pan American Games. He played on the national team thru 1983, and competed at the World Championships in 1973, 1975, and 1978. In club water polo, Lindroth played on nine AAU National Champion teams. He was inducted into the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame in 1988 and the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
