Charles UMBS

Charles Umbs competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (17th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (15th); the individual all-around, field sports (=47th); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (5th). Umbs represented the South St. Louis Turnverein. He worked in St. Louis as a shoe worker.
