Goalie Peter Lindmark started his career in 1974 with IFK Kiruna and played there until 1979. From 1979-84 he played with Timrå IK and in 1981 was awarded the Guldpucken award as the best player at the Swedish Championships. From 1984-88 Lindmark played with Färjestad BK, winning Swedish titles with them in 1986 and 1988. He was also awarded the Guldhjälmen award as the most valuable player at the Swedish Championships in 1987 and was named the best goaltender at the Swedish Championships in 1985. In 1988, Lindmark moved to Malmö IF and played there until 1997. He won Swedish titles with Malmö in 1992 and 1994 and a European Champions’ Cup in 1992. Lindmark finished his career with Luleå HF from 1998-99. He was selected to the Swedish championships all-star team in 1981 and 1985-88.

Internationally, Lindmark was capped 174 times with the Swedish national team. He won an Olympic bronze in 1988, was World Champion in 1987 and 1991 and won silvers at the 1981 and 1986 World Championships. He was named as the best goalie at the 1981 and 1986 World Championships and was selected to the World Championships all-star team in those years. Lindmark was also runner-up at the 1984 Canada Cup, won silvers at the 1981, 1982, 1986 and 1991 European Championships and bronze at the 1989 European Championships. He was awarded the Stora Grabbars Märke (Big Boys’ Badge) #119 in ice hockey. After finishing his sporting career, Lindmark worked as an ice hockey coach with Luleå HF.
