Gianni GIACOMINI

Gianni Giacomini was the 1979 World Amateur Road Champion, and was considered one of the favorites at the 1980 Olympic road race. But he was dropped by Soviet Sergey Sukhoruchenkov, who dominated the race, and Giacomini placed fifth.
