Eugene VAN ROSOSBROECK

After his 1948 Olympic gold medal in the team road race, Eugène Van Roosbroeck turned professional, riding in the pro peleton through 1955. He rode a few one-day classics but never finished near the top. His best professional performances came in minor races, with a second at Roubaix-Huy in 1951 and third at Kessel-Lier in 1955.
