Biografia

Bill Kund was a track sprinter who competed in the 1,000 metre time trial at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He also won a bronze medal at the 1967 Pan American Games in the team pursuit. Kund won the Amateur Bicycle League of America (ABLA) 10-mile scratch race in 1965. Kund was one of the early American cyclists who went to Europe to train and race, starting in 1971. He turned professional in 1972 and taught school at the American School in The Hague. Kund stopped racing in 1976 and returned to the United States, settling in North Carolina, where he became a commercial photographer.
