Biografia

Suzanne Davis won six medals at the US Figure Skating Championships, winning the ladies’ title in 1934, placing second in 1928, 1933, and 1935, and earning bronze medals in 1929-30. She also competed at the World Championships twice, finishing sixth in 1930 and 11th in 1932. Davis later married Bill King, a Dartmouth swimmer, and their son, Bill, Jr., played quarterback at Dartmouth. They settled in Richmond, Virginia, where she was a co-founder of the Skating Club of Richmond. Davis-King later became a judge in national figure skating competitions, and in 1986, appeared on ABC’s Wide World of Sports in “The Show of Champions.”
