Biografia

Sean Killion was a distance freestyler who swam both the 400 and 1,500 at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He also competed for the US at the 1987 and 1991 Pan Pacific Championships, winning 400 gold in 1991 and 400 silver in 1987. He also swam at the 1986 Goodwill Games, where he defeated distance legend Vladimir Salnikov in the 400 free. Killion swam for U Cal Berkeley in college.

Although he grew up in New Jersey, Killion later settled in the Bay Area of California, where he took up surfing, often on the violent waves of Mavericks off Half Moon Bay. He began work there for Federal Express as a sales manager. He is a member of the Camden County (NJ) Hall of Fame.
