Ruth Elizabeth TOPALIAN

Ruth Topalian competed in all seven women’s gymnastics events at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Her best individual finish was =58th on the horse vault. Topalian represented the New York Turnverein.

Topalian graduated from the Metropolitan Hospital College of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse (RN) for 25 years at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. She later worked as a real estate agent. Topalian was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stuart, Florida, and the Registered Nurses Retirees Club.
