Biografia

Remigio Molina competed as a bantamweight at the 1992 Olympics, losing in the quarter-finals. Molina was an eight-time Argentine Champion as an amateur and won one South American title. He turned professional after the Barcelona Olympics, fighting for the first time as a pro in November 1993. Molina fought mostly in Argentina during his pro career, which ended in July 2005. He had a record of 38 wins (14 by KO), 8 losses, and 1 draw, but lost 7 of his final 11 bouts. Molina fought for the WBO featherweight title in November 1996, losing to Naseem Hamed, his first loss as a pro. He also fought Erik Morales for the WBC super bantamweight title in April 1998, but lost that bout as well.
