Biografia

Linda Brenneman was a road cyclist who competed in both the road race and the individual time trial at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Brenneman had actually retired in 1993 and then in 1994 gave birth to her first child. She came back to cycling after an absence of 1½ years to make the 1996 US Olympic Team.

Brenneman's first high-level sport was roller speed skating, in which she was a national champion. She started cycling as a way to train for roller skating and was named to the US National Cycling team in 1990. She won the general classification (GC) at the 1991 Tour de Toona, and the GC at the 1993 and 1995 Redlands Bicycle Classic. Brenneman retired, for good, after the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She was a licensed real estate agent.
