Fritz Manteuffel was a German gymnast who competed in gymnastics at the 1896 Athina Olympics on parallel bars, horizontal bar, pommel horse and the horse vault. His exact results are not known, but he was unplaced in individual events, although together with the German team he won two gold medals. After their return home, most team participants were excluded from the reactionary German Gymnastics Association as they were “involved in a sporting event dedicated to internationalism". The winning teams were banned from national competitions in Berlin.
At the 1900 Paris Olympics, Manteuffel again participated in gymnastics. There was only an individual all-around, in which he scored 223 points and finished 72nd out of 135 participants.
