Biografia

Eduardo Flaquer participated in all three events at the 1924 Paris Olympics, making the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles with Lili Álvarez. He played many of the major events in the 1920s, competing at Wimbledon in 1922, 1923, and 1926, making the fourth round of singles in 1922, and losing in the doubles finals in 1923. Flaquer played Roland Garros in 1925-27, losing in the 1925 quarter-finals to René Lacoste. Flaquer was Spanish Champion in 1923, 1924, and 1927 and was runner-up in 1931. He played the World Hard Court and World Covered Court Championships in 1922-23. He was also a top football (soccer) player, playing for Internacional de Barcelona from 1918-20 and FC Barcelona in 1919.
