Biografia
Demi Vollering had an unforgettable 2022-2023 season, leaving the cycling world in awe of her amazing performances. Her achievements included victories in the Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne and the Liège–Bastogne–Liège - which saw her complete the Ardennes Classics triple crown - and the Women's Tour de France.
To top it all off, she was awarded the Velo d'Or, which is the road cycling equivalent of football's Ballon d'Or, recognizing her as the best racer in the sport for the year.
"Of course, it's amazing and very nice to win this trophy. It's a recognition for the season I had this year. I won a lot, though I always tend to forget a little bit, of course. It's always very nice to revisit all the races I won before receiving the trophy. I am genuinely proud when I see that back," she told Cyclysm actu after her stellar season.
