बायोग्राफी

Three weeks before the 1928 Olympic bobsleigh event, Thomas Warner was injured when the bob “Tishy”, owned by George Pim crashed at St. Moritz. Pim and Warner won eight races aboard “Tishy” in the 1927 season. The two men recovered from the accident and took part in the Olympics when they were in the Great Britain I bob that lost by 1/10th of a second to the British II bob. Like many top bobsleighers at that time, Warner was a member of the Scots Guards and served as a major. He was the son of Sir Thomas Courtenay, the 1st Baronet Warner, and liberal MP for over 30 years.
