बायोग्राफी

Her Royal Highness, the Princess Anne, is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. HRH Princess Anne competed at the 1976 Olympics in the equestrian three-day event. She did not approach a medal but had won an individual gold medal at the 1971 Burghley Three-Day Event, and won individual and team silver medals in 1975 at Luhmuhlen. Her first marriage was to Mark Phillips, who competed in eventing and won a team gold medal at the 1972 Olympics and a team silver medal in 1988. Their daughter, Zara Phillips, also became an eventer and has won multiple international medals, including an Olympic silver in 2012 team eventing.

HRH Princess Anne was educated at the Benenden School in Kent. As a member of the British Royal Family, HRH Princess Anne is the Princess of the United Kingdom, and holds numerous other titles, and has received multiple honors, both domestically and from foreign governments. She does charitable work for various causes, both in Great Britain and internationally. HRH Princess Anne served as President of the International Equestrian Federation from 1987-93, and is the Honorary President of the British Olympic Association. She was co-opted onto the IOC in 1988 and later served on the Eligibility Commission from 1990-94.
