Biographie

Steve Holman was a middle-distance runner who ran the 1,500 metres at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Holman ran in college at Georgetown, where he won the 1992 NCAA title in the 1,500. He also won the USATF Championship at the distance in 1999, and was named the Penn Relays MVP in 1991. Holman retired from running in 2001 and then attended the Wharton Business School, earning an MBA. He later worked in the financial services sector, initially with Vanguard. Holman was known as an anti-doping advocate, a champion of athlete rights, and also served on the USA Track & Field board.

Personal Best: 1500 – 3:31.52 (1997).
