Biographie

Robert Monier was the son of a wine-merchant and became one himself. Prior to World War I, he was an excellent rugby player, representing France twice internationally. In 1911 he played against Ireland and in 1912 against Scotland. Monier also won the French Championships twice with Stade Bordelais (1909, 1911).
