Biographie

Olle Petrusson was a member of the Swedish biathlon relay team for three consecutive championships in the 1960s and took bronze medals at the World Championships and Olympics. His World medals came at the first two Biathlon World Championships in 1966 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in 1967 in Altenberg, and he added a bronze medal in the relay at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble. Petrusson also participated at the 1972 Games in Sapporo, where the Swedish relay team finished fifth. Individually, Petrusson had his best individual result at the 1969 World Championships in Zakopane, when he came in 10th place over 20 km. Until 1975 he participated regularly in World Championships. He later worked as a dairy farmer in his native Nälden.
