Biographie

After a strong showing in the Junior Asia Cup and the International U-21 tournament in the Netherlands, the Kurukshetra-born midfielder made her senior debut in a series against New Zealand in Napier in 2012. And, after that, she never looked back as she went on to represent India in some of the world's most prestigious competitions, including the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games, when India won ronze and Silver medals, respectively. She was also a member of the Indian team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow (fifth place) and the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (fourth position).

She was a member of the Indian team that qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics (12th place) after a 36-year hiatus and was also part of the team at the 2020 Tokyo Games, where India achieved fourth place – the team's best-ever finish at the Summer Games. The seasoned ace also played a major role in India's historic bronze medal campaign at the Women's Asia Cup in 2022 and was a key member of the Indian women’s hockey squad which finished the FIH Hockey Women's Pro League 2021/22 at the third position.
