Marie DECUGIS

Marie Décugis was the wife of Max Décugis, winning a gold medal with him in mixed doubles at the 1906 Olympics. Max competed at the 1900, 1906, and 1920 Olympics, but Marie’s only Olympic appearance came in 1906. They were married in May 1905. Marie played at Wimbledon in 1912 and 1920, losing her first match both times. She won the French women’s doubles title in 1908, with Katie Fenwick, and the French covered court mixed title, with her husband, in 1910-11.
