Kelly CLARK
After graduating from Mount Snow Academy in Vermont in 2001, Kelly Clark became a professional snowboarder and dominated the halfpipe in 2002. In that season she won the US Open in both halfpipe and quarterpipe, won the Winter X Games halfpipe in Aspen, won three other US Grand Prix events, and capped the year with her Olympic gold medal in Salt Lake City. On the World Snowboard Tour, she won five of nine events in 2003-04 and was on the podium in all nine. Through 2009, she continues to compete, having won at least 10 major international events, and in 2008-09 was ranked #1 on the World Snowboard Tour, after placing third in 2007-08.
