Biographie

Jørn Didriksen was a Norwegian speed skater who specialized in the shorter distances. Didriksen competed in three World Sprint Championships with a best placement of fourth in 1975 behind three Soviet skaters. The same year he won the Norwegian Sprint Championship. His greatest success came at Innsbruck in 1976 when he won the silver medal in the 1,000 m behind Peter Mueller. Didriksen later became a writer, mainly of fictional crime thrillers, and has authored several books.

Personal Bests: 500 – 38.7 (1977); 1000 – 1:17.34 (1977); 1500 – 2:05.8 (1977); 5000 – 8:11.0 (1973).
