Biographie

Iris Davis ran sprints for Tennessee State University, winning four US Championships, the AAU 100 in 1971 and 1973 and the AAU Indoors at 60 yards in 1972-73. Davis was also runner-up at the AAU 100 yd dash in 1969-70 and was third in 1972 and tied for second at the 1972 Olympic Trials. She won a gold medal in the 100 metres at the 1971 Pan-American Games, and ran on a world-record setting 4x110 yard relay team in 1971.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.27 (1972); 200 – 24.3 (1971).
