Biographie

Hannah TETER

Hannah Teter hails from the first family of American snowboarding, with several brothers on the US team, and one older brother, Amen Teter, who is her agent and manager with the Octagon Agency. In 2005 Hannah Teter was featured in a snowboarding documentary, First Descent, which also starred Shaun White and Norwegian snowboarding legend Terje Håkonsen. She has won numerous titles, including the 2004 Winter X superpipe, the 2005 FIS World Cup halfpipe, and the 2004 US Overall Grand Prix halfpipe title. She was not favored at the 2006 Winter Olympics, but came thru to win the gold medal, narrowly defeating her close friend, Gretchen Bleiler. Teter has her own charity, Hannah’s Gold, which sells Vermont maple syrip, with the proceeds going to World Vision, which helps feeds children in Africa who have been orphaned by AIDS.
