Biographie

Liz McIntyre spent 20 years on the US Ski team, competing from 1986-98, and then serving as moguls coach from 1999-2006. The highlight of her career was her silver medal in moguls at the 1994 Winter Olympics. During her career she had four podium finishes in the World Cup events (all at Tignes, France), and posted 18 top-10 finishes. As moguls technical coach she coached Olympic medalists Shannon Bahrke, Toby Dawson, and Travis Mayer, and in 2003, Bahrke and another of her students, Travis Cabral, swept the World Cup titles. During her coaching tenure she led the freestylers into a new era in which inverted maneuvers were made legal for competition. McIntyre attended Dartmouth where she also played on the soccer (football) team.
