Biographie

Dave McMullin went to Princeton, where he played on the freshman tennis and soccer teams, but was primarily known as a squash racquets player. At that sport, he partnered Stanley Pearson to the United States and Canadian doubles championship in 1947. McMullin also served the U.S. Squash Racquets Association as its secretary in 1937-38. After college, Dave McMullin entered the investment business in which he remained for four years before transferring to the John Wanamaker Co. in Philadelphia. He went on to become a top executive with that company before retiring in 1974. One of his duties with Wanamaker was as president of the Millrose Athletic Association which ran the well-known indoor track meet, the Millrose Games.
