Biographie

Charles Clibbon was the winner of the AAA 10 miles (1920) and the Midland title (1921). In 1920 he won the RAF cross-country title, finished second in the National, leading Birchfield Harriers to victory in the team event, and he then finished fourth in the International race. In 1921 he was again a member of the Birchfield team which won the National team title. At the 1920 Olympic Games he qualified for the final of the 10K but dropped out at the halfway mark.

Personal Bests: 3 miles – 14:56.8 (1919); 5000 – 15:20.4e (1924); 4 miles – 19:51.0 (1924); 10000 – 32:08.8e (1920); 10 miles – 53:21.8 (1924).
