Biographie

Allan Carlsson, who later adopted the name Allan Ekebäck, won a total of four Swedish Championships, 1932 as a featherweight and 1933, 1934 and 1936 as a lightweight. He appeared for Sweden in 12 international meetings, winning 10 and only losing 2 fights. He was known for his technical skills. Carlsson never turned professional and became Stor Grabb (Big Boy No. 1). His brother Gösta was also a gifted boxer.
