Biografía

Mark Everett was primarily an 800 metre runner who competed at the 1988, 1992, and 2000 Olympics. Everett won a bronze medal in the 800 at the 1991 World Championships, winning a gold medal with the US 4x400 relay team at the 1997 World Indoor Championships. Everett often ran the 400 as a member of the relay team. He won the 1994 World Cup at 800 metres, finishing second in that event in 1998.

Everett was an eight-time US Champion in the 800 metres, winning in 1988, 1990-91, 1993-94, 1997-98, and 2000. He ran in college at the University of Florida, winning the NCAA 800 metre title in 1990. He later became a track coach at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama. Everett was inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.
