Her rise continued at a senior level. In 2017, she competed in her first IFSC Climbing World Cup at Meiringen, finishing 12th. That season, she also won the German lead champion title.

In 2020, Meul placed fourth in lead climbing at the European Championships in Moscow. The following year, she achieved fifth place in the combined category at the IFSC Climbing World Championships in Moscow. She narrowly missed a spot on the Germany team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, held in 2021.
