Biografía

Claudia Zaczkiewicz won a bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics in the 100 hurdles. At the 1987 Worlds she came in seventh, and at the 1989 World Cup she was fifth. At the 1986 and 1990 Europeans Zaczkiewicz failed to qualify for the second round. At the European Cups she finished third in 1987 and second in 1989. She also participated with limited success at the World and European Indoors. From 1987-89 she was West German Champion, also indoors over the 60 hurdles in 1991.

Zaczkiewicz was trained as a physician assistant and later worked as a special pedagogue. In 1996 she and her family took her birth name of Reidick. She first worked in the medical practice of her husband, and later became a sports teacher at Leininger-Gymnasium in Grünstadt. For the 2013/14 season, she worked with the youth teams of soccer club 1. FC Kaiserslautern, providing psychological support.

Personal Best: 100H – 12.75 (1988).
