Aloysio Borges had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1951 Pan American Games modern pentathlon team (with Eric Marquez and Eduardo de Medeiros), 2nd in the 1963 Pan American Games épée team (with José Maria Pereira, Arthur Ribeiro and Carlos Couto).
