A verdant and vibrant environment

A mere hour and a half from Paris lies Troyes, the ancient capital of Champagne, which stands out for its Renaissance architecture, factory outlets, cuisine, verdant environment, timber-framed houses and more. The historic centre of Troyes, Le Bouchon de Champagne, is packed with theatres, museums, gyms, a swimming pool, a bowling alley… A cycling route stretches 42 km from there to the sprawling lakes of the Forêt d'Orient. Troyes, which earned the "Terre de Jeux" label in 2019, boasts 70 sports facilities and has invested in a gymnastics complex and an international BMX track for the Paris 2024 Games and their legacy. Home to over 500 organisations, including 200 sports clubs, Troyes pulsates with a magnetic, lively and athletic energy.

Celebrating sports in all shapes and colours

The French Disabled Sports Federation named Troyes the "2015 Para-sport City of the Year", an accolade that underscored the appeal of the city, the various French national team training camps held there and its knack for hosting regional and national events. The city is home to 70 disabled licence holders, 3 disabled sports clubs and 30 adapted sports sections. Moreover, Troyes offers municipal sports facilities that are exceptionally well suited to para-sports, including the fencing hall and Les Chartreux swimming pool.
