Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the second biggest city in the Alpes-Maritimes area and is ideally located between the mountains and the sea, only 30 minutes from Nice Côte d’Azur international airport. Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the largest of the towns and cities that makes up Sophia-Antipolis, Europe's leading technology park, and is focused on research and sustainable development. It is also a city of culture, heritage and sport, as shown by its famous ramparts, its Picasso Museum, the Garoupe lighthouse, its music academy, its Azurarena basketball stadium or its aquatic centre with two 50-metre-long Olympic swimming pools. Antibes Juan-les-Pins is a city with a maritime tradition and boasts enchanting beaches dotted along its 23 kilometres of coastline.

In Antibes Juan-les-Pins, disabilities are a priority with regard to transport and improving daily life, but especially with top quality sports facilities that are accessible for para-sport. Throughout the year, the city supports para-sport and its champions, such as swimmers Elodie Lorandi and Florent Marais, who have both won medals at the Olympic Games. Also, each year, the city organises a disability forum focused on independence, freedom and dealing with fragility and vulnerability.
