The USA basketball Men's National Team (USABMNT) won their first warm-up game since their roster for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 was confirmed.

In the showcase exhibition clash in Las Vegas, the U.S. beat Canada 80-72.

Stars including LeBron James and Steph Curry were among the first five to start for Team USA, with their bench players - who are all NBA all-stars - then gaining valuable international experience later in the game. Kevin Durant missed out due to a calf strain.

Next, the USABMNT will travel to the United Arab Emirates, to face Australia on Monday and Serbia on Wednesday in scrimmage tune-up games in Abu Dhabi, before flying to London for their final two friendly encounters. The USA play Serbia in their opening Olympic group stage game in France on Saturday 28 July.
