The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony hit all the right notes on Wednesday 28 August.

While the unforgettable soundtrack to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 is still ringing in the ears of fans across the globe, including songs such as Johnny Hallyday’s Que je t’aime and John Lennon's all-time classic Imagine, the Opening Ceremony of the first Paralympic Summer Games to be held in France was full of musical gems that will live long in the memory.

As the rhythms of the music merged with the stunning choreography on display, the Opening Ceremony invited everyone watching to reflect on the extraordinary talents of the Paralympic athletes who will compete in Paris from 29 August to 8 September.

Eleven days before the "electro party" that is sure to close the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on a high note, the world was treated to some unforgettable themes as the party began at France's world-famous Place de la Concorde.
