Paris 2024 Olympics: The flagbearers at Sunday's Closing Ceremony
US swimming great Katie Ledecky and French superstar Antoine Dupont will be among the flagbearers for the Closing Ceremony at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Sunday 11 August.
The Closing Ceremony will be a more traditional affair compared to the Opening Ceremony which saw the parade of nations taking place on boats on the River Seine in the French capital.
Paris 2024 will come to an exciting conclusion at the Stade de France, the venue for rugby sevens and track and field athletics during this year’s showpiece. The ceremony will include the flags of the nations, the athletes' parade and the handover of the Olympic flag to the Los Angeles 2028 Organising Committee.
Ledecky, the most decorated female swimming Olympian, will leave Paris with four medals which include the 800m and 1,500m freestyle gold medals.
The below list will continue to be updated as nations confirm their Paris 2024 flagbearers this week….
