Where to begin! The penultimate day of action at the Paris 2024 Olympics will see the most amount of gold medals won.

There are 39 golds on offer throughout Saturday 10 August, starting off early with the men’s marathon as Eliud Kipchoge targets a record third-straight Olympic title.

In the evening there are eight finals in the athletics, while USA’s star-studded men’s basketball team featuring LeBron James and Steph Curry take on hosts France for gold in their pursuit of a fifth Olympic title in a row.

France find themselves in finals across their capital, as they also contest Norway in the women’s handball final and Poland in the men’s volleyball final.
