Here are the athletes that will compete in sport climbing at the Olympic Qualifier Series
Over 160 climbers are chasing 30 Paris 2024 quotas at the Olympic Qualifier Series. Find out the names of the athletes who have earned their spot in the high-stakes competitions that take place between May and June 2024.
Some 160 athletes are set to compete for 30 Paris 2024 quota spots in sport climbing this May and June as a part of the Olympic Qualifier Series.
According to the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), ten quota places will be up for grabs in each of the two Boulder & Lead events and five in each of the two Speed events. Here is a list of athletes that have already qualified for the Games, according to the IFSC.
The Olympic Qualifier Series promises to be one of the most exciting and vibrant sporting events of 2024, with athletes from the world of sport climbing, BMX freestyle, breaking and skateboarding all competing side-by-side in urban parks in Shanghai, People's Republic of China and Budapest, Hungary.
The Shanghai stop will be held at the Huangpu Riverside from 16 to 19 May 2024, while the Budapest event will take place at the Ludovika Campus from 20 to 23 June 2024.

The list of athletes were determined according to the IFSC World Rankings in Boulder & Lead and Speed. Also, if applicable, each event also had to incude:
- The highest placed athlete from the Olympic Games Paris 2024 host nation;
- The highest placed athlete from each of the OQS host nation;
- The highest placed athletes from each Continents; and
- The highest placed athlete from any of the identifies Universality nations.
As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes' participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
