Paris 2024 diving: All results, as Yang Hao and Lian Junjie beat Tom Daley and Noah Williams to men's diving synchronised 10m platform gold
Yang Hao and Lian Junjie wrested the men's synchronised 10m platform title back from British hands in the final on Monday (29 July) to deliver the People’s Republic of China a second gold in diving at Paris 2024.
The Chinese duo, who have won the past three world titles, posted a score of 490.35 to beat GB duo Tom Daley and Noah Williams (463.44) who took home silver ahead of Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsombor-Murray (422.13) with a history-making bronze for Canada.

Tom Daley wins fifth Olympic medal in fifth Olympic Games
Eight pairs contested the event, with Daley – this time alongside Williams – defending the emotional gold he won at Tokyo 2020, a first Olympic title after first competing as a 14-year-old at Beijing 2008.
But the Chinese are on a quest to win all eight diving medals in France, something they were so close to doing in Japan except for the pesky pairing of Daley and then-partner Matty Lee who secured gold, capitalising on a mistake on the last dive by the Chinese duo of Aisen Chen and Yuan Cao who had been leading throughout.
This time there were no such issues for Yang and Lian who led from the start, increasing their lead throughout the six rounds, although Daley and Williams kept in touch enough to keep the pressure on right to the last dive. Just in case.
Supporting from the stands at the Paris Aquatics Centre were Daley's husband Dustin Lance Black, son Robbie, six, and one-year-old Phoenix, with the kids wearing T-shirts that said, 'That's my Papa'.
"Today has been magical," Daley told Olympics.com afterwards. "Being able to compete in front of my family and to see them in the crowd and see them all get excited.
"Before we even started, I think we were really happy with how it all went. And to come away with another medal to complete the set for me has been really, really quite amazing," said Daley, referencing adding silver to his one gold and three bronze from previous Games.
Meanwhile, Mexico and Canada were tussling for the final podium spot with Kevin Berlin Reyes and Randal Willars Valdez needing more than 91 points on the final dive to go ahead of Wiens and Zsombor-Murray. The Canadians hung on for a first-ever Olympic medal in the discipline for Canada.
