Athletics in Paris 2024: Entry standards more challenging than Tokyo 2020

World Athletics has unveiled the qualification system for Olympic Games Paris 2024, and the entry standards have evolved since Tokyo 2020. Here are the tables comparing the entry standards for the upcoming and past Olympic Games. 

Athletics will once again be one of the most highly anticipated sports to feature at the next Olympic Games, Paris 2024.

On 20 December, World Athletics revealed the qualification system for the next Olympics and, for the majority of the events, the entry standards are higher than those that decided qualification for Tokyo 2020.
