48 riders will battle it out for 12 Paris 2024 quotas at the Olympic Qualifier Series in Shanghai and Budapest. Find out the names of the athletes who have earned their spot in the high-stakes competitions that take place between May and June 2024.

The list of BMX freestyle athletes that will compete at the Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS) has been finalised.

A total of 48 riders will compete at the OQS, with the top 12 finishers - six women and six men - obtaining a quota for the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024.

For each gender, if more than two athletes represent the same NOC at the OQS, only the two highest ranked can qualify to compete in Paris (i.e. in the case of more than two athletes from that NOC finishing in the top 6 of the final OQS ranking).

The Olympic Qualifier Series promises to be one of the most exciting and vibrant sporting events of 2024, with athletes from the world of BMX freestyle, breaking, skateboarding and sport climbing all competing side-by-side in urban parks in Shanghai, People's Republic of China and Budapest, Hungary.

The Shanghai stop will be held at the Huangpu Riverside from 16 to 19 May 2024, while the Budapest event will take place at the Ludovika Campus from 20 to 23 June 2024

Read on to discover the names and the nations who seek to win BMX freestyle gold at the Games.

As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes' participation at the Paris Games depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
