A prolific goalscorer with more than 10-years international experience behind him at the time of the 1948 Olympics, Trevor Lewis was captain of the Great Britain water polo team. He played his club polo for Swansea, and won many county honours, as well as playing for Wales and Great Britain internationally. Lewis was still playing at the highest level more than 20 years after taking up the sport when he represented Glamorgan in the 1958 ASA Water Polo County Championships.
