个人信息

Versatile Italian footballer Petro Fanna either played as an attacking midfielder or winger. He started his career with the Udinese youth team, before two seasons with Atalanta Bergamasca, which was followed by a move to Juventus in 1977, with whom he made his Serie A début. It was not long before trophies came his way, as Juventus won Serie A in 1978, the Italian Cup in 1979, and Serie A two more times in 1981 and 1982. After five years with the Torino giants, Fanna moved to Hellas Verona in 1982 and, in his final season with them, 1984/85, he added a fourth Serie A title when, playing alongside the likes of Olympian Roberto Tricella, Verona lifted the title. Following a move to Internazionale in 1985, Fanna collected a fifth Serie A winner’s medal when, under manager Giovanni Trapattoni, Inter won the title in 1989.

Fanna won 13 Italy under-21 caps between 1976-80, scoring three goals, and took part in the 1978 and 1980 UEFA European Under-21 Championships. He also represented the Italian Olympic side on six occasions between 1979-84, again scoring three goals. At the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, his two goals in four matches helped Italy finished fourth. Fanna won 14 senior Italian caps between 1983-85.
