个人信息

Kennedy Ondiek was one of the first top international sprinters produced by Kenya. After his appearance at the 1988 Olympics, he placed eighth at the 1990 Commonwealth Games 200 metres, and then reached the quarters in the 200 at the 1991 World Championships. Ondiek also competed at the 1993 Worlds and 1994 Commonwealth Games, running the 200 at both, but did not advance to the final at either meet. Ondiek was Kenyan champion in the 100 metres in 1991-93 and the 200 metres in 1992-93. He was known for his response to questions by saying, "It's cool, man", no matter the situation. In July 2011 he might have taken his own life. Details were, however scanty.

Personal Bests: 100 – 9.9 (1991); 200 – 20.1 (1989).
